Here at Clinic In A Can, we have a diverse, experienced staff that works to bring you the highest quality product. Together our staff has over 14 years in international medical practice, extensive background in remodeling, construction, and engineering, as well as experience in business and marketing. Since our first Clinic In A Can in 2005 we have evolved the clinic to be the innovative, quality product we offer now.

Michael J. Wawrzewski, PA-C

Michael Wawrzewski is a native of Garnett, Kansas. He graduated with an Associates of Arts Degree from Coffeyville Community College in 1991 and with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Wichita State University in 1995 after completing the Physician Assistant program. He works as a Physician Assistant part-time here in Wichita, Kansas at Wesley Medical Center with the trauma surgery/critical care services.
Michael founded Hospitals of Hope in 1998 after taking multiple short-term mission trips to medically undeveloped countries starting in 1992. As a true visionary willing to make his ideas a reality, Mike was the recipient of the 2005 American Academy of Physician Assistants Humanitarian of the Year award and the 2008 Frist Humanitarian Award from HCA (Hospital Corporation of America).
Michael is married to Elizabeth, a dentist trained in Bolivia and the United States. Michael and Elizabeth work together to further the impact of Hospitals of Hope and Clinic In A Can.
Daniel White
International Missions Coordinator / Assistant Director

Daniel graduated from Wheaton College in 2004 with a BA in Communications and finished his Masters in Organizational Development at Friends University in 2011. He returned to his hometown of Wichita after spending a year teaching high school in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Previous to that, he lived in Chicago for five years where he attended school and worked in home remodeling. He has worked in the leadership of several ministries ranging from inner-city tutoring to European evangelism. He has worked with Hospitals of Hope since fall 2007.
Kyle Stevens
Clinic In A Can Project Manager

Kyle has extensive background in remodeling and carpentry, together with project management, making him uniquely qualified to oversee construction of Clinic In A Can. Kyle has a long history with Hospitals of Hope. He served as volunteer coordinator in Bolivia for a year and a half, helping to complete construction on our 32-bed, level II hospital, and he constructed the original Clinic In A Can, which was sent to Haiti in 2005. He is a past member of the Hospitals of Hope Board of Directors.
Tricia Erickson
Communications and Marketing Coordinator

Tricia grew up just 20 minutes away from Wichita and moved back to the area in 2011. She graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 2010 with a BA in Communications and a minor in Business Administration. She joined Hospitals of Hope in 2011 and is using her skills in journalism, marketing, and public relations to help Clinic In A Can improve healthcare of the underserved.
Brad Glanville
Clinic In A Can Construction Staff

Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration from Wichita State University. He is the owner of BnD Enterprises, a commercial and residential construction and remodeling company and worked as a Superintendent with Neely Construction Company from September 1996 to March 2010. He has worked for Hospitals of Hope since November 2010.
