Our leaders

FOUNDER/CEO

Mike founded CIAC in 2002 after volunteering with Compassion International and witnessing firsthand the never-ending need for accessible healthcare in underdeveloped parts of the world. He earned his Bachelor’s in Science from Wichita State University and is a Physician Assistant with 27 years of experience specializing in emergency, trauma and critical care medicine. He continues to work as a PA in addition to running CIAC.

DIRECTOR OF DESIGN

Teresa is our Project Coordinator and Lead Designer. She hails from Kansas City and has her Master’s of Architecture from the University of Kansas. She loves problem solving to help clients find the perfect solution for their medical needs.

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Brooks is our Production Manager from Wichita. He joined the CIAC team in 2014, and he thanks his grandfather for his help in the early part of Brooks’ career. Brooks says he enjoys working hands on to help create quality healthcare facilities for people who need them.

HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Derek is our Head of Business Development, Sales and Customer Support. He loves engaging with customers and combining his problem solving skills with his passion for other cultures and languages. He’s originally from Ellinwood, Kansas, and he has his B.A. in History and Spanish from Wichita State University. He has 24 years of experience as a construction business owner, and he’s a licensed contractor in Sedgwick County. He is married with four children.
